Xinmin Evening News (Reporter Luo Shuiyuan) From August 29th to 31st, 2019, the 2019 World Artificial Intelligence Conference was held at the Shanghai World Expo Center and the World Expo Exhibition Hall. State Grid Corporation of China, as one of the first 15 strategic partners of the conference, participated in the conference from three aspects: participation in the Innovation Application Exhibition, sponsorship of the Global Industrial Internet Summit, and hosting of the "Pan IoT Smart Future" sub forum.
The State Grid Exhibition Area is located in Hall H2, Hall A117, on the main road of Hall H2 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall, covering a total area of 180 square meters, showcasing the concept of green power grid interweaving, flexibility, and innovation. There are a total of 14 exhibition projects in the exhibition area, divided into three categories: customer service, smart electricity protection, and energy services. The projects will be displayed through touch interaction to enhance the sense of technology and audience experience of the display form. Among them, three projects, namely the construction and operation of urban virtual power plants, the 3I infrared visual intelligent inspection system, and the world reception hall - the strongest brain for urban green electricity protection, highlight the application achievements of State Grid Corporation in the integration of artificial intelligence technology and ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
The virtual power plant is the first commercial building virtual power plant operation platform at home and abroad. Through 5G communication technology, neural network computing, big data analysis, edge computing and other artificial intelligence technologies, the distributed resources of urban commercial buildings are aggregated by multidimensional modeling, to achieve the classification, aggregation and optimal allocation of users' idle resources, and achieve the same effect as conventional power plants. On the basis of ensuring urban energy security, virtual power plants create new forms of energy value sharing, build new engines of green power generation, and serve the green and low-carbon development of cities. At present, State Grid Corporation of China is vigorously carrying out the next phase of pilot research and development work based on the achievements of the Huangpu District Commercial Building Virtual Power Plant.
The 3I infrared vision intelligent inspection system was jointly developed by the State Grid Corporation of China and Fudan University. Aiming at the difficulties and pain points of the current infrared detection of substation equipment, the AI+ubiquitous power Internet of Things edge computing and big data technology solutions were used for the first time at home and abroad, realizing the goal of "non professionals become infrared experts". This system combines deep learning algorithms with power equipment connection logic knowledge graph technology, achieving functions such as automatic identification of power equipment and automatic diagnosis of infrared defects. It solves the pain points of high threshold, heavy workload, and low manual detection efficiency in power infrared detection technology, and improves the overall work efficiency of infrared defect diagnosis by more than three times. Currently, the first generation prototype has been launched.
The World Reception Hall - the strongest brain for urban green electricity protection - is built by State Grid Corporation of China, which fully draws on the experience of electricity protection at the "World Expo" and "CICA Summit", and breakthroughs in exploring the use of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence in electricity protection. The "brain center" for electricity protection is the panoramic intelligent power supply guarantee system and the green electricity index evaluation system. The system is mainly used to improve power supply reliability, and can achieve power supply guarantee from the entire Shanghai network to the core area of the CIIE. The intelligent power protection system solves the dependence of the labor-intensive and labor-intensive crowd tactics on a large number of personnel in the past power protection process, avoiding the problem of equipment failures that cannot be handled in a timely manner during manual inspection intervals. Through trend analysis, faults can be addressed before they occur. At present, the smart electricity protection system has been applied in the electricity protection work of the first China International Import Expo, effectively ensuring the power supply safety of the Expo.
In addition to the above three projects, State Grid Corporation of China also participated in exhibition projects such as service robots in the business hall (14.870, 0.03, 0.20%), transmission and transformation inspection robots, and AI visualization devices for transmission lines, focusing on artificial intelligence technologies such as infrared perception, virtual reality, robots, voice and image recognition, big data, cloud computing, and 5G communication, which comprehensively perceive power grid status, efficiently process multi-source information The application level of convenient and flexible customer service.
